Virtual Event: Road to the Vote ~ The Boston Women's Suffrage Trail

Celebrate Women's History Month with a program presented by the Brewster Ladies' Library. 

The Boston Women's Heritage Trail describes the history of people and activities in Massachusetts during the struggle for the American woman's right to vote. The presentation includes topics such as the arrest of suffragists during President's Wilson's visit to Boston in 1919, the suffrage parade, and suffragists Lucy Stone, Alice Stone Blackwell, Julia Ward Howe and others.
