Irish Harpist Mairead Doherty

Saturday, December 10th at 12pm

Please join us for a celebration of the spirit of Christmas featuring Irish Harpist Mairead Doherty along with Vocalist Fr. John Dolan and Flutist William Miner.

The talented Ms. Doherty's programs are annual favorites at Dennis Public Library. Born in County Tipperary, Ireland, she studied harp under the auspices of the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. She has performed throughout Europe and North America.

This program will feature a brief history and timeline leading up to the Christmas event punctuated with songs, carols and instrumental music of the harp and flute inspired by Christmas. All ages are welcome at this enriching musical event.
