June Artist~ Elizabeth Kelly Walker

painting of mother bird feeding babies

Reception: Thursday, June 7th from 5:00-7:00pm

The paintings of local artist Elizabeth Kelly Walker will be on display in the library's meeting room throughout the month of June. All are welcome to explore and enjoy the exhibit. Please join the artist for a reception, open to the public, on Thursday, June 7th from 5-7.

A note from the artist: "As an artist, I consider the relationships between individuals, be they humans or other creatures. I sometimes explore acts of nurturing which can be mistakenly perceived as a violation. I also channel celebratory affirmations of nature. These images evolve from visual thoughts and feelings which cannot be totally communicated verbally. That is why I paint."
