Cooking and Gardening with Herbal Teas

Planting an herbal tea garden is a fun way to add dimension to your edible garden and to your pantry. And while herbal teas are wonderful to drink, they can also be used to flavor cooked dishes as well. 


Chef and gardener Liz Barbour will share images of her ornamental tea garden and show how easy it is to incorporate her favorite tea herbs into your garden. Following her presentation, Liz will create 2 healthy recipes using her favorite herbal tea blends for you to sample.

English Language Programs

This summer the Dennis Libraries are offering programs to help people with their 

English language skills!


Dennis Public Library has summer classes starting July 9th:
Tuesdays from 10:00-12:00
Wednesdays from 12:00-2:00


Meet with a group to learn new words, practice pronunciation, and make some new friends!

For additional practice, Dennis Memorial Library and Dennis Public Library both offer instruction by appointment.

A workshop for people who want change. Loosen the Glue teaches you three basic tools to help you get unstuck and move forward. Through acceptance, clarity and mindset, you will see what is not working and how you will create a plan that will work. You will walk away with a better understanding of who you are and what you want.

This is a free workshop. No registration is required.


Presented by Patricia Anglin, author of Power Within Her. She mentors and coaches women who struggle with feelings of lost identity. She is a leader and educator of self-worth and personal growth and speaks about the importance of building who you are from the inside out.

From the artist: "As an artist, I consider the relationship between individuals, be they humans or other creatures. I channel celebratory affirmations of nature. These images evolve from visual thoughts and feelings which cannot be totally communicated verbally. That is why I paint."
