Tonight's "Haunted History" event featuring spooky tales of New England has been cancelled due to presenter Christopher Daley's admission to the hospital.

Please accept the apologies of the DPL staff and Chris himself, who is extremely sorry that he cannot be here.

Food for Fines

We have started our Annual Food for Fines Food Drive!

Have some fines you'd like to clear? Have some food you'd like to donate to a needy family? Good!

One canned good (or whatever) for each dollar owed - up to $10.00. Items must be sealed and unexpired. Drop food off at the circulation desk - make sure to have your library card so we can clear your fines.

Kids Halloween Story and Trick or Treat!

Come to the library on Halloween (in your costume!) anytime between 11:00am and 1:00pm for trick-or-treating and a spooky story!

Local Young Adult author Reade Scott Whinnem will be reading from his latest book, The Pricker Boy. The Pricker Boy is a ghost story with substance - a thriller that takes readers on a journey deep into the dark woods....

Whinnem, a public school teacher, is also the author of Utten and Plumley.

The Pricker Boy is aimed at the middle school grades.
