Museum Passes

Due to COVID-19, some museums and other local attractions may have restrictions in place. Please check their websites or contact the museums directly to confirm hours, openings, and restrictions.

 The library offers a number of free and reduced-cost passes to museums, parks, and other attractions on, and off, the Cape. We do not reserve passes in advance, but you can call the library or check our catalog for pass availability. Passes go out for three days.

Please note that while we strive to have the most up-to-date info available, the rates and discounts on the actual passes supersede any info on this page.

Winter hours: Battleship Cove is open Friday-Sunday from 9am-4pm. The Fall River Maritime Museum is open Fri-Sun from 10am-3pm. With the pass up to 2 adults and up to 3 children pay $3.00 each. The Cove will open for its full schedule on March 29, 2024. Battleship Cove closes at 1 pm Christmas Eve and is closed on Thanksgiving and Christmas Day.
 
Cape Cod Maritime Museum, Hyannis, MA ~ Open Wed-Sat 10am-4pm

Cape Cod Museum of Art, Dennis, MA ~ Open Wed-Sat 10 am-4pm; Sun 12 pm-4pm
Free admission for two. Closed Christmas Eve, Christmas and New Year's Day, and all other major holidays.

Heritage Museums and Gardens, Sandwich, MA ~ Open 7 days 10am-5pm
50% off admission for up to six (6) individuals. Children under 2 are free.
Tickets are date-specific. Opening April 20th, 2024

John F. Kennedy Hyannis Museum, Hyannis, MA ~ Apr 15-Nov 30 Mon-Sat hours vary seasonally; Dec open Thurs, Fri, Sat; Feb & Apr school vacation weeks 10-4. (last ticket sold at 3:15pm). Free admission. 


Massachusetts DCR Parks Pass, Multiple locations
Provides free parking (admission) to the Mass DCR Parks including South Cape Beach, Horseneck Beach, and Nickerson State Park. This pass can only be used with cars with MA license plates. 

Museum of Science, Boston, MA ~ Open Daily 9am-5pm
Passes are date specific; they can only be used for the date printed on the pass. 
Bring pass to Box Office to purchase discounted tickets.
Up to 4 people admitted at 50% off - Exhibit Halls only.
Children under 3 are always free. Closed 9/3, 11/28, 12/25. Closes at 2 PM 11/28 & 12/24. No timed ticketing or advanced registrations required.

Pilgrim Monument and Provincetown Museum, Provincetown, MA ~ Open Wed-Sun 10am-5pm; last tickets sold at 4pm
Free admission for one family. Pass is accepted for 3 hours of free parking in public lot. Closed November-April.

Sandwich Glass Museum, Sandwich, MA ~ Open 9:30am-5pm
Free admission for up to four (4) people. Closed Jan; Feb & March Wed-Sun 9:30-4; April-Dec 30 9:30 a.m.-5:00 p.m. Closed Easter, Thanksgiving, Christmas Eve and Christmas Day & New Year's Eve.

Toad Hall, Hyannis, MA ~ Open Sun-Sat 11am-5pm
50% off admission for up to two (2) adults and two (2) children.

 Whydah Pirate Museum, West Yarmouth, MA ~ Open Thurs, Fri, Sat, Sun 11am-4pm
Call or visit the website to make a reservation - discount passes are accepted
Discounted admission for up to four (4) people at $12 per ticket.

Zoo New England, Stoneham, MA and Boston, MA ~ Open Check for Franklin Park or Stone Zoo hours
Discount passes are available. Passes admit up to 6 people at a price of $9 for adults and $6 for children (under 2 = FREE). Please contact library for discount code. Pass is good for either Franklin Park or Stone Zoo.
