Puppet creator Lisa Daunais featured in our Art Display Case

January 2023

Creator and kindergarten teacher, Lisa Daunais has been using her puppets in the classroom for over 25 years. Nothing pleases her more than seeing her students engaging in a good book while using puppets to enhance their literacy skills.

She feels puppets engage children and turn story telling into play. Playing, reading, retelling stories, and using imagination to build vocabulary, a key indicator for literacy success.
