Getting ready to make that oyster stuffing for your Thanksgiving celebration? Come and learn about farming oysters from John Lowell, co-owner of East Dennis Oyster Farm. John and his wife Stephanie have been farming oysters on Cape Cod since 2003 and their farm, located off Quivett Neck in East Dennis, contains as many as 200,000 oysters. John will give our audience a peek into an oyster's journey from farm to table and discuss his commitment to sustainable aquaculture.

American Guitar: Design and Evolution; a Musical and Historical Journey

Saturday, November 3 at 1:00 pm

Come help us celebrate American Music Month and World Music Days!

Dennis Dillon, professional musician, guitar historian and humorist, treats listeners to a delightful mix of musical performance, history, and education, peppered with humorous anecdotes.

With over forty years experience as a performer, Dennis Dillon’s original instrumental compositions are steeped in the American tradition of the blues, country, folk, ragtime, gospel, rockabilly, rhythm and blues, and rock and roll. When he is not performing or building, restoring, and repairing instruments, Dillon employs his multi-instrumental talents by teaching all fretted stringed instruments including electric and acoustic guitar, slide, lap-steel and dobro, 5-string banjo, mandolin, bass guitar, and harmonica.
