National Read Across America Day

Tuesday, March 2, 2021

March 2nd is National Read Across America Day, a day to celebrate many people's favorite activity. The day was established by the National Education Association (NEA) in 1998 to help get kids excited about reading. The day occurs each year on the birthday of Dr. Seuss, beloved children's book author. So, call us to get supplied with your favorite books and celebrate the joy of reading.

Please also feel free to take a look at NEA's website, which includes a calendar of events and recommended books: https://www.nea.org/professional-excellence/student-engagement/read-across-america
