Irish harpist Mairead Doherty

Saturday, March 8 at 12:00 pm

Get ready for St. Patrick’s Day with Mairead Doherty. The talented harpist and her musical guests will treat listeners to Celtic airs. The stirring renditions of traditional music and the delightful background stories relayed by Ms. Doherty are sure to entertain an audience of all ages.

Born in County Tipperary, Ireland, Mairead Doherty studied harp under the auspices of the Royal Irish Academy of Music in Dublin. She has performed throughout Europe and North America. This year marks Ms. Doherty’s sixth year performing at Dennis Public Library.

We would like to thank the Dennis Arts and Cultural Council and the Massachusetts Cultural Council for helping fund this very special program.
