Raymond Perry (1883-1948) was born in Natick, MA, and studied at the Mass Normal Art School and the R.I. College of Education. He was an instructor at the Rhode Island School of Design and served as the R.I. State Supervisor of Industrial Education. He authored and illustrated Block Printing Craft (1938) and Blackboard Illustration (1945).

Mr. Perry specialized in block printing and watercolor painting. His work was exhibited at the Art Institute of Chicago from 1918-1926. His many professional memberships included the Cape Cod Art Club of Yarmouth Port. He lived in Providence R.I. and kept a summer home and studio in West Dennis.

His unexpected death in 1948 left his widow with a studio full of art. His daughter, and then his two granddaughters have cared for his art. Selected pieces are currently for sale during the show.
