Library re-opens Wednesday, Nov. 13th with limited services

On November 8, 2019 the Dennis Public Library experienced a mechanical failure in an air handler, which caused extensive water damage to portions of the building.

The Library, with the exception of the damaged areas, is expected to re-open Wednesday morning, November 13, 2019 at its normal time of 10:00 a.m. The Library will have limited services, but patrons will be able to return and check out material.

The public computers and Wi-Fi will not be functional for another few weeks until renovations are nearing completion. All phone lines at the Library are currently out of service.

The Benjamin & Ruth Muse Meeting Room and the Children's Room will not be accessible until work is completed. Portions of the Children's collections have been relocated to the main area of the Library, where Storytime will still take place on Thursday mornings at 10:30 a.m.
