Making a Radio Play out of the Legend of Mooncussing on Cape Cod

Saturday, September 21st at 12:00

Author, actor and playwright Lee Roscoe will be at the library to discuss her radio play The Mooncusser's Tale. In this talk, uncover a little of our maritime history and how a legend became an awarded radio play.

The Mooncusser's Tale is a haunting story of piracy and family conflict on 19th century Wellfleet. The work was awarded a Brewster Cultural Council grant, and the Silver prize from the audio and podcast festival Hear Now! The talk will be accompanied by slides of places which helped inspire The Mooncusser's Tale

This program is sponsored by the Friends of Dennis Public Library.
