Help us celebrate Earth Day! Join naturalist and landscaper John Root for a comprehensive introduction to the identification and uses of wild plants for food and beverage. He will discuss distinguishing characteristics, seasons of availability, habitats, methods of preparation, and nutritional and medicinal value of New England’s most common and appealing wild plants.

This is a free program, however, perennials for edible landscaping and attracting songbirds, hummingbirds, and butterflies will be offered for sale.

~This program is Henry David Thoreau approved! Keep an eye out for other nature related programs all year long!~
