Library Updates

On January 20, 2020 the Dennis Public Library experienced water damage to its Circulation Desk and Back Office areas due to a leaking sprinkler pipe.

The Library will remain closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 to allow for clean up and repair of the affected areas. Additional closure time may be necessary to complete work. Stay tuned for further updates.

During this time period, the remaining four Dennis village libraries are fully operational and open to serve patrons. For information on these libraries, locations, and hours, please see the Town of Dennis website for the Departmental listing for Libraries at https://www.town.dennis.ma.us/libraries.

Wildlife on the Move

Saturday, March 22 at 1:00 pm

The Cape Cod Bridges and Canal are busy – with paw traffic, that is! First we saw Coyotes, then Fishers, a Bear and now a Bobcat. Are these new residents or returnees? In fact there are numerous species we don’t expect on Cape Cod from Otters to Weasels. We’ll check them out, on screen of course, during a virtual tour led by Ian Ives, Director of the Long Pasture Wildlife Sanctuary in Barnstable. You may discover some surprises in your neighborhood.
