Library Updates

On January 20, 2020 the Dennis Public Library experienced water damage to its Circulation Desk and Back Office areas due to a leaking sprinkler pipe.

The Library will remain closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 to allow for clean up and repair of the affected areas. Additional closure time may be necessary to complete work. Stay tuned for further updates.

During this time period, the remaining four Dennis village libraries are fully operational and open to serve patrons. For information on these libraries, locations, and hours, please see the Town of Dennis website for the Departmental listing for Libraries at https://www.town.dennis.ma.us/libraries.

Homeopathy, Lyme Disease, and Fibromyalgia

Saturday, June 23 at 11:00 am

Have you ever been curious about homeopathy? Local homeopathic practitioner Laurie Wheeler speaks to our audience. Laurie works with the principles of true healing and the energy it seeks to transcend.  Homeopathy recognizes the symptoms are unique to each individual and treats the whole person rather than the named "disease."  This allows for helping the patient with a wide range of conditions, both acute and chronic.  Some familiar systems and conditions are digestive, respiratory, gastrointestinal, circulatory, Lyme disease, fibromyalgia, headaches, and insomnia. We have asked Laurie to especially highlight the issues of Lyme disease and fibromyalgia.
