Dyeing to Wear It®

Thursday, March 30th at 5:00

Create your own wearable art! This class will focus on the design and function of the classic silk wrap. Each design will be its own unique and beautiful piece of wearable art made entirely by you. Each color is handcrafted from raw materials and extracted without the use of harmful chemicals.

The workshop is infused with storytelling by the artist, filled with textile history from the region and around the world, and explores how this history intersects with our shared American culture.

Space is limited. Please call the library to register: 508-760-6219. Refreshments will be provided.

This event is made possible by a partial grant from the Dennis Arts and Culture Council.
