Pastel Painting Workshop- Virtual Program

Saturday, December 12th from 12:30-3:00

Dennis Public Library will once again host award-winning pastel artist Gregory Maichack to present a hands-on workshop for adults, “Pastel Paint the Miracle Flowers,” on Saturday, December 12th. This year the presentation will be virtual, using Zoom.

This exciting Zoom pastel painting workshop is designed for everyone from sheer beginners to experienced artists.

Gregory Maichack is a seasoned pro at teaching pastel techniques, as recognized by the Museum of Fine Arts (MFA) Boston; Massachusetts Cultural Council (MCC), and hundreds of libraries and local cultural councils.  In this new, highly researched workshop, participants have fun producing their own pastel painting inspired by Georgia O’Keeffe’s enormous mural, The Miracle Flower.

Please call 508-760-6219 or email nkramer@clamsnet.org to register.

Participants will be provided pastels, white charcoal pencils, template, and pastel paper, in this fun pastel painting workshop. Materials will be provided via curbside pickup the week before the program.

This program is supported in part by a grant from the Dennis Arts and Culture Council, a local agency which is supported by the Massachusetts Cultural Council, a state agency.
