Library Updates

On February 4, 2020 the Dennis Public Library will reopen to serve patrons. Repairs to areas damaged by water on January 20, 2020 have been completed. The Children’s Room and the Benjamin and Ruth Muse Meeting Room sustained damage in an earlier event on November 8, 2019, and will remain closed until carpet is delivered later this month.

The AARP Foundation Tax-Aide Program that is normally offered at this time of year in the Meeting Room has been relocated to the Dennis Union Church at 713 Main Street (Route 6A), Dennis, MA, through the month of February. Please call Susan Reilly at the Dennis Senior Center to arrange an appointment for tax preparation assistance: 508-385-5067. Voting on March 3, 2020, for Precinct #3 will still take place at Dennis Public Library.

Friends of the Library Annual Meeting

You are invited to the Friends of Dennis Public Library's Annual Meeting. 

At this meeting, officers of the Friends Board will be elected for the 2019-2020 year. 

Members of the Friends of Dennis Public Library, as well as anyone interested in joining as a board member or committee member are encouraged to attend. 

The Friends support the library by raising funds for materials and services. They sponsor lectures, the summer reading program, and other beneficial activities. Funds for these purposes come from the annual dues paid by members of the Friends, fundraising activities and events, and the Friends' book sale. Stop by the meeting to learn more about the Friends and how you can help!

This meeting is open to the public. You do not need to be a member of the Friends to attend.
