Library Updates

On January 20, 2020 the Dennis Public Library experienced water damage to its Circulation Desk and Back Office areas due to a leaking sprinkler pipe. We will remain closed until further notice.

During this time period, the remaining four Dennis village libraries are fully operational and open to serve patrons. For information on these libraries, locations, and hours, please see the Town of Dennis website for the Departmental listing for Libraries at https://www.town.dennis.ma.us/libraries.

WWI Centenary Display and Event

book cover with WWI postersThis November marks 100 years since the end of the First World War. In commemoration of this event, the library has a display of WWI books available, including a new book of WWI posters. Along with the display is a suggested book and DVD list to help you find more items in the library's collection.

In addition to the display, the library is also hosting a talk from the Cape Cod Military Museum on Saturday, November 17th at 12:30 about the 26th Yankee Division that fought in WWI. All are invited to this photo lecture about the largest unit of soldiers from Massachusetts who served in WWI.

We wish to thank all veterans for their service and honor them on Veterans Day, November 11th, and always.
