Woodcarvings by Vincent Zavorskas

Come and view beautiful woodcarvings by Vincent Zavorskas in our new display case within the library.

Vincent Zavorskas studied at the Paier College of Art in Hamden, CT, after he got out of the United States Coast Guard. In the early 1970s Vinnie got some wood carving tools and began to do wildlife carvings and paintings - so he is basically self taught. Several years ago he began making shadow boxes and has enjoyed this new medium. For over 29 years he had a woodcarving class at the Falmouth Senior Center, where he shared his love of the craft. He currently resides in Falmouth, MA. The items on display are for our patrons' viewing pleasure only. No carvings are for sale at this time.
