Old Houses of Dennis

Saturday, April 11 at 2:00 pm

Phyllis Horton of the Dennis Historical Society creatively presents an illustrated lecture on our Old Houses, both still standing and long gone. This core part of Dennis history shows the wide variety of styles employed through the years. A $5 donation at the door benefits the Dennis Historical Society.

Photo of the Joseph K. Baker homestead, loaned by Pauline Kennedy of Dennis Port in August 2000. This stately home is now gone, but it once stood on the north side of Route 28 in Dennis Port, just east of the intersection with South Street. The barn is still used as a club called The Improper Bostonian.
