Library Updates

On January 20, 2020 the Dennis Public Library experienced water damage to its Circulation Desk and Back Office areas due to a leaking sprinkler pipe.

The Library will remain closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 to allow for clean up and repair of the affected areas. Additional closure time may be necessary to complete work. Stay tuned for further updates.

During this time period, the remaining four Dennis village libraries are fully operational and open to serve patrons. For information on these libraries, locations, and hours, please see the Town of Dennis website for the Departmental listing for Libraries at https://www.town.dennis.ma.us/libraries.

April Meeting Room Artists-AmeriCorps Cape Cod

The Barnstable County AmeriCorps Cape Cod display is part of a traveling exhibit put on by the members of AmeriCorps Cape Cod. The exhibit, "Cape Cod through Our Eyes," is running at various venues, and will be featured in our meeting room from April 3-26th.  All the work is by current AmeriCorps members or alumni.

AmeriCorps Cape Cod serves Barnstable County in four focus areas: natural resource management, disaster preparedness and response, community outreach and development, and environmental education. The 32 members who live and serve on the Cape experience a unique side of the Cape through the seasons. This collection is intended to show some of their favorite experiences and places on Cape Cod, and share some of the knowledge they have gained.

Come see their beautiful work!
