Library Updates

On January 20, 2020 the Dennis Public Library experienced water damage to its Circulation Desk and Back Office areas due to a leaking sprinkler pipe.

The Library will remain closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 to allow for clean up and repair of the affected areas. Additional closure time may be necessary to complete work. Stay tuned for further updates.

During this time period, the remaining four Dennis village libraries are fully operational and open to serve patrons. Local favorite Susan Santangelo is back. She has just released the fourth book in her humorous Baby Boomer Mystery Series. This time character Carol Andrews and best friend Nancy attend a class reunion and find the dead body of one of their classmates in their room. The adventure ensues! The Baby Boomer Mysteries Series is well received by fans and critics alike; the third book Marriage Can Be Murder was selected as one of 2012’s Best Mysteries by Suspense Magazine.

Susan has been a feature writer, drama critic, and editor for daily and weekly newspapers and magazines in the New York metropolitan area, including a stint at Cosmopolitan magazine. She’s a member of Sisters in Crime and the Cape Cod Writers Center, and divides her time between the Connecticut shoreline and Cape Cod, MA. Books will be available for sale and signing.
