Library Updates

On January 20, 2020 the Dennis Public Library experienced water damage to its Circulation Desk and Back Office areas due to a leaking sprinkler pipe.

The Library will remain closed on Tuesday, January 21, 2020 to allow for clean up and repair of the affected areas. Additional closure time may be necessary to complete work. Stay tuned for further updates.

During this time period, the remaining four Dennis village libraries are fully operational and open to serve patrons. For information on these libraries, locations, and hours, please see the Town of Dennis website for the Departmental listing for Libraries at https://www.town.dennis.ma.us/libraries.

Award-winning author and journalist Nancy Rubin Stuart delights our audience with tales of her experiences. Her latest biography entitled, “The Muse of the Revolution: The Secret Pen of Mercy Otis Warren and the Founding of a Nation,” features a nearly forgotten Founding Mother who wrote about the American Revolution from her own experience and those of her friends. Among them were patriots John and Abigail Adams, Sam Adams, Martha and George Washington, Henry Know, and Elbridge Gerry. Come and listen in! Registration is recommended for this highly popular event.

The Author’s Friday 2009 Series is presented by the Friends of the Dennis Public Library.
